If you want to do this without using any extension, you use the alternate method specified below. First you will need to open your browser’s developer console. Fire up Opera Dragonfly (Ctrl+Shift+I), Fireox Web Console (Ctrl+Shift+K), Internet Explorer Developer Tools (F12), or Chrome JavaScript console (Ctrl+Shift+J), and type the following code into the console.

Google Music is LIVE

The search giant has finally entered the cloud music arena by launching first invitation only public beta of their "Google Music" service, unfortunately the service is only available to US users but the limitation can be easily bypassed as shown after the jump along with Google Music features, beta invitation process and a video demonstration.

Google Music Beta Features :

  • Listen anywhere, even offline - You can get to your personal music collection at home or on the go. Listen from the web or any enabled device with the Music app available from Android Market. Not online? No problem. The songs you've recently played will automatically be available offline. You can also select the specific albums, artists and playlists you want to have available when you're not connected.
  • Stay in sync, without the hassle - Spend more time listening to your music and less time managing it. Once your music is online, it's always available. Playlists are automatically kept in sync, and you don't have to worry about cables, file transfers, or running out of storage space.
  • Your collection, now in one place - Upload your personal music collection to a single library, even if it's scattered across multiple computers. You can upload music files from any folder or add your iTunes® library and all of your playlists. And when you add new music to your computer, it can be automatically added to your music collection online.
  • Mix it up - Create your own custom playlists with just a few clicks. Or use Instant Mix to automatically build new playlists of songs from your collection that go great together. All the playlists you create and all the changes you make to them are automatically available everywhere your music is.
How to get an Google Music Beta invitation :

  • Goto Google Music Beta page and click "Request an Invitation >" button.
  • If you are not from US, you will be shown an error message as posted below - in this case continue using a US proxy site like www.hidemyass.com to access the page.
  • Once the page loads-up Sign-in using your Google account credentials.
  • Confirm the request.
  • You will now be notified when your number comes for the invite.

Gmail changes again (Google's New look)

Google began rolling out its new look for Gmail Tuesday. According to an update on Gmail’s blog, it’s now available for everyone. For now, you can choose whether or not you want the new Gmail, but it’s likely to switch over for all eventually. Here are nine things you should know about Gmail’s new features:
1. Resizing Options

Gmail users can now control the density of their inbox. Depending on your preference of white space, you choose manually between three sizes: comfortable, cozy or compact.

2. Cleaner Interface

An overall cleaner interface could make the initial shock of a heavy unread inbox a little easier to bear.

3. Adjustable Chat and Labels

You can now adjust the size of labels and chat areas to view more or less of each.
Labels have also been moved to the top of your inbox in tab form, making it even easier to filter your inbox according to priority.

4. Automatically Adapt
The new gmail automatically adapts to fit any size window. As you resize the window, the inbox becomes more or less dense.

5. HD Themes
Like before, you can select themes to personalize your inbox, but now there are high definition choices available. After testing on various sized screens, there is not a hugely noticeable difference, however the images are easier on the eyes.

6. Redesigned Email
Emails have been redesigned, making it feel more like a conversation. The people included in the conversation can be found on the right, appearing just as they would in Gchat with their status.

7. Profile Picture
As we recently noticed, there have been some changes made to Google's photo editing applications. These have been integrated with Gmail, allowing you to upload and edit a profile picture.

8. Customizable Search
Taking a cue from its own search engine features, Google's search in your inbox is customizable to your content, making it easier to find what you're looking for even faster.

9. Search Filter
There is also now a filter feature in the search box, making it easy to sift through a certain time period or find an attachment

Google to release Google TV next week under Honeycomb 3.1

Apple TV has finally found itself a competitor in the market. In a week time, Android will battle for a share for mobile TV with its new Google TV application which will be powered by no other than its Android platform. Google TV will be using Android 3.1 which is Honeycomb and currently there is no telling whether it will be made available on Ice Cream Sandwich or not.

Google TV was supposedly due earlier with the release of Sony Google TV and Logitech Revue but apparently the previous version of Android that was available on these devices were deemed unsuitable for the software itself. That is why these devices will be updated to Android version 3.1 in the short future.
Some of the new features that will be made available on Google TV are of course a revamp of its design on which to us looks absolutely pleasing, additional applications such as YouTube, Amazon and even NetFlix on it. Suffice to say that with Google TV, there will be no other need for any other additional hardware to run anything else as most operations can be controlled through the application. Moreover, the customers’ televisions will also be more efficient as almost everything can be done with Google TV.
